Mark Fraser Photography Workshops
Mark Fraser Photography workshops are an opportunity for you to learn from a professional photographer. Based in Milton Keynes, these workshops will be relaxed and informative. We aim for you to leave having had fun, but having learnt skills to take your photography to the next level.
We limit all courses to a maximum of five people to ensure that everyone gets quality time and learns as much as possible. The workshops are full of practical sessions where you get to try out your new skills. These are not classroom courses: Most of your time will be spent discovering and experiencing what you are learning.
The right photography workshop for you
INTRODUCTION TO DSLR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY. This one day photography workshop starts from the basics and gets you confident in using a DSLR. It is for those who want to learn how to use their DSLR camera. If you are stuck using the camera on full automatic mode, or have just got your first DSLR camera, this is for you. We look at the basics that will help you start to take control of your camera to take the pictures you want. We will start from basics and look at the key dials and menus on your camera and some of the important settings you need to understand in order to get the best from your camera. Photography training from ground up.
PHOTOGRAPHING PEOPLE. This photography workshop is for those people who understand the basics of their camera (as covered in the Introduction Course) but want to take better pictures of family or friends. You don’t always need lots of expensive lights to get some stunning photos. We will look at photographing indoors just using available light. We will then look at using natural light outside, how to pick your location and how to “pose” people so they look their best but still look natural.
1:1 PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING. Flexible tailored 1:1 tuition. Purchase blocks of time and use in one go or in 2 hour sessions or anything in between. Bespoke training to meet your needs.

A day of business and wedding photography training followed by the ultimate experience: assist at a wedding along side the main photographer capturing all the moments throughout the day without the pressure of getting it right first time.
This course will build your confidence very quickly compared to standard courses or books and will provide you with a complete portfolio of a typical Wedding – essential when presenting your work to future clients
